The Adaptive Sports Center wishes to acknowledge the incredible spirit and energy of Adam Lockard, one of our winter interns who passed away suddenly at the end of the January.

"Adam was such an amazing spirit. He impressed all who worked with him. When we discuss Adam, people say he was extremely fun on lessons, willing to learn and help. It is rare to find someone so compassionate who elevates people's spirits with his enthusiasm. There are some people that stand out in this line of work who can really advance and find a place in therapeutic recreation or wilderness therapy. Adam was one of those."
